About the Artwork

Northern Lights is an original abstract painting by Camilla Fabbri (Millolart).

The artwork draws inspiration from the aurora borealis, reinterpreted as a cosmic and energetic phenomenon rather than a literal landscape. Waves of green and violet light emerge from a deep black background, resembling magnetic currents moving through space and darkness.

The composition is built on contrast: luminous flows against an infinite void, movement against stillness. The brushstrokes suggest energy fields, plasma-like forms, and celestial matter in transformation, evoking the idea of light as a living force shaped by invisible laws.

Northern Lights explores the boundary between natural phenomena and the universe itself, where atmosphere and cosmos merge into a single, vibrating presence.
