About the Artwork
Hèrcules is an original abstract painting by Camilla Fabbri (Millolart).
The artwork is an abstract interpretation of the mythological figure of Hercules, perceived through form rather than narration. Within the fluid movement of acrylics, a face appears — or seems to appear — in left profile, emerging from layered tones of copper, grey, and warm earth hues.
The image does not impose itself. Instead, it suggests a silhouette, leaving space for personal interpretation. What may resemble the profile of Hercules is not a literal portrait, but an intuitive vision: strength translated into matter, identity dissolved into motion.
This ambiguity is intentional. As with all abstract works, Hèrcules exists in the space between what the artist perceives and what the viewer recognizes. It invites imagination to complete the image, allowing each observer to project their own idea of power, myth, and presence.
